'I cannot praise them enough' '“ ambulance service commended in latest patient survey
Almost 100 respondents in the East who received emergency treatment completed questionnaires, with 100% either satisfied, or very satisfied with the care they received.
The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) also saw 100% of respondents say that the staff who attended them were very professional with a patient saying: “The staff that treated me are a credit to the ambulance service.”

Hide AdOther questions that scored 100% were the appearance of staff, cleanliness of equipment, and cleanliness of the interior of ambulances which were all responded to as acceptable.
In addition, 9 out of 10 said the length of wait for an ambulance to arrive was either acceptable or very acceptable and more than 96% rated the handling of their call as either very acceptable, acceptable, or fairly acceptable.
However, 3.7% of respondents rated the comfort of their journey in the ambulance as uncomfortable.
Another patient said: “I could not have had a better service” while a third said: “The standard of care was excellent, the staff were superb in their thoroughness and care.”
