Five miles of queues on A1 near Peterborough following collision
There are delays on the A1 northbound following reports of a two vehicle collision.
The collision happened near Wansford.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 11.38am today (28 August) with reports of a collision involving two cars on the northbound carriageway of the A1 between Wansford and Wittering.
“Officers are currently at the scene and are assisting with traffic control. Work is underway to clear the carriageway as soon as possible.
“It does not appear anyone has been seriously injured.”
Motorists are advised to avoid the area is possible.
