Fire fighters called to tackle kitchen fire in early hours of the morning
Fire crews were called to a Sawtry home after a fire broke out in the kitchen in the early hours of the morning.
The crews were called at 4.10am today,following reports of the fire on Old Great North Road, Sawtry.
Crews arrived to find a fire in the kitchen. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the flames before returning to their stations by 6.15am.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
