A car crashed into a building in Peterborough in the middle of last night.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Taverners Road and Lincoln Road at about 12.45am this morning after the incident, which involved a Hyundai and a Toyota.

A spokesperson from Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “We were called at about 12.50am today (4 October) with reports of a collision at the junction of Taverners Road and Lincoln Road in Peterborough.
“A Hyundai I10 left the road, before colliding with a lamppost and a building.
“It is believed a Toyota Yaris was also involved in the collision.

Hide Ad“A man who was driving the Hyundai was taken to hospital with serious injuries.”


An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called just after 12.45am to a road traffic collision on the junction of Taverners Road and Lincoln Road in Peterborough. An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer vehicle and a response vehicle from Magpas Air Ambulance were sent to the scene. An adult man was transported by road to Peterborough City Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
