Peterborough nursery open as usual as car crashes into wall
A Peterborough nursery has been able to open on Monday after a car crashed into its outside wall.
A car crashed into the wall of the Little Acorns Day Nursery and Montessori School on Waterhouse Way at just before 3pm on Sunday evening (November 23).
The wall as well as one of the windows at the nursery in Hampton Beach was damaged but a tidy up has taken place and the wall and window boarded up.
The nursery confirmed that it was safe to open on Monday and fortunately, no one was injured in the crash.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: “We were called at about 2.45pm yesterday (23 November) to reports of a car colliding with a wall of a nursey in Waterhouse Way, Peterborough.
“It is believed the driver had suffered a medical episode and was taken to hospital, along with a passenger, with injuries believed not to be serious.
“There were no arrests and no other vehicles involved.”
