Dogsthorpe firefighters tackle three arson attacks in same area of Peterborough in 24 hours


Crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to a fire in Norman Road, Eastfield at 4.41am yesterday, Tuesday August 9.
Firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish a fire in a waste area beneath a shop.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.

Hide AdA crew from Dogsthorpe was then called to a shed fire in Lincoln Road, Millfield at 5.07pm.
When crews arrived they found a shed and fencing on fire that was spreading to the windows and guttering of two properties.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to extinguish the fire and stopped it from spreading any further.
The cause of the fire was again deliberate.
A crew from Dogsthorpe also attended to a rubbish fire in Lincoln Road, Peterborough at 5.42am this morning, Wednesday.

Hide AdRubbish was on fire at the rear of a property and a hose reel was used to extinguish it.
The cause of the fire was deliberate.
