Dinner supervisor retires after 30 years

Pupils from Ormiston Meadows Academy paid tribute to a dinner supervisor who retired after 30 years.

Joyce Perks left the school at the end of term, and was given a present by pupils.Jean Watt, principal, said: “We greatly value the contribution that Mrs Perks has made to our school. During her time here she has seen in excess of 5,000 pupils, eight headteachers and countless other staff come and go. We will all miss her and wish her a long and happy retirement.”
