Update: Man in court charged with murder of Jason Cremin in Peterborough

A man will appear at Crown Court tomorrow (February 23) charged with the murder of Jason Cremin in Peterborough.

Julian Davies appeared at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court virtually today (February 22) and has been remanded to appear at Cambridge Crown Court tomorrow (February 23).

Officers were called at just before 4.45am on Friday (February 19) with reports of violence in Brudenell, Orton Goldhay.

Emergency services attended but Jason Cremin, 39, of Naseby Close, Ravensthorpe, died as a result of a stab wound to the abdomen at just before 6am.

Julian Davies, 18, of Meriton, Orton Goldhay, was arrested and has been charged with Jason’s murder.

In a tribute, Jason’s family said: “Jason was a family man and was very well loved amongst his friends. He was also an only child and along with his parents, leaves behind his partner and five children. The family are utterly grief stricken at this time and wish to be afforded their privacy to come to terms with what has happened.”
