Tractor and digger stolen in burglary near Oundle

A tractor and a digger were among valuable plant machinery stolen in a burlary near Oundle.

The burglary took place between 5.45pm on Monday, June 8, and 7.15am on Tuesday, June 9 in Nene Way, Polebrook, when the offenders gained access to a privately-owned paddock and stole a number of high-valued items.

Among the items stolen was a red Benye Foton tractor, Ifor Williams trailer, Caroni finishing mower, Iseki rotovator, Hitachi 3 tonne excavator with buckets, JCB mini digger buckets, antique French log burner and items of horse tack.

It is believed the offenders may have used a vehicle, possibly a van or 4x4, and officers would like to speak to anyone who may have seen anyone or a vehicle at the paddocks between the stated times.
