Criminals sentenced this month These are the faces of the criminals jailed in Peterborough and Cambridge Crown Courts in the past month.
This is not a list of all offenders jailed, but of those who have committed the most serious offences when Cambridgeshire Police have deemed it worthy to release their custody photographs to the Peterborough Telegraph.
Jessica Prince, 35, of North Brink, Wisbech, admitted a charge of dishonestly making false representation with intent to make a gain for herself and to cause loss to another by fraudulently using her company credit card. She was jailed for 20 months. Maurice Rogers, 28, of Willow Drift, Bedford, pleaded guilty to burglary and was jailed for three years and eight months Tommy Rooney, of Greenacres in Leicester Road, Market Harborough, was charged with theft, possession of a class B drug, dangerous driving and driving without insurance. He was sentenced to a total of 15 months in prison and must forfeit the drugs Craig Stark, 35, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply class A drugs and was jailed for 26 months at Peterborough Crown Court Astra Marriott of Clarkson Terrace, Huntingdon was found guilty of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin and jailed for 12 months Leon Ward, of Kenbury Gardens in Lambeth, London, was sentenced at Peterborough Crown Court where he was handed six years in prison for possessing cocaine and heroin with intent to supply Shane Burton, 20, of Auburn Close, London, was sentenced to 18 months in a young offenders institute after pleading guilty to two counts of possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and possession of criminal property. Samuel Edwards, 37, of Clifton Road, Sidcup, Kent, was sentenced to three years and four months imprisonment after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and being concerned in an offer to supply class A drugs. Daniel Walker, 29, Manton, Bretton, attempted to rob a Chinese takeaway in Bretton. He admitted attempted robbery, possession of an imitation firearm with in intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a knife in public and was jailed for 4 years. Ashraf Hussan, 20, of Eversleigh Road, Newham, London, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine on the day of the murder, and was found guilty of murder. He was jailed for 20 years minimum. Juned Ahmed, 18, of Kings Road, Newham, London, was found guilty of murder, being concerned in the supply of heroin and cocaine on the day of the murder, and Ahmed admitted being in possession of a knife. He was jailed for 18 years. Nathan Strachan of Bishop Way, Impington, was jailed for more than five years after a tip-off by residents led to him being caught red-handed with 6,000 worth of heroin and cocaine in Cambs.
