Offences ranged from thefts, to drug dealing and axe wielding, with the following nine criminals among the most serious offenders. This is not a list of all offenders jailed, but of those who have committed such serious offences that Cambridgeshire Police have deemed it worthy to release their custody photographs to the public.


. David Barry
David Barry, 45, of Towler Street, Peterborough, stole computers, a work phone and a driver’s licence from Thomas Deacon Academy, and was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drink or drugs. He pleaded guilty to possessing class A drugs, driving without a licence, burglary and assault, and was handed 114 months in prison. Photo: Cambridgeshire Constabulary

. Constantin Motescu, Laurentiu Sucea, Mihai Birtu and Paul Buica
This four men gang stripped lead from rural churches from Somerset to North Yorkshire during a two-year crime spree, resulting in repair bills totalling more than £2 million. 5. Malachi Jackson
Malachi Jackson, 19, of Park Lane, Peterborough, was found by police hiding in a property in Terrill Close, Huntingdon on 9 December with a bundle of class A drugs and £235 cash. The teen had been using the property to sell crack cocaine and heroin without permission from the occupant. He pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, and possession of cannabis at Peterborough Crown Court and was sentenced to 32 months in a Young Offenders Institute. 6. Craig Myers
Craig Myers, 20, was sentenced to 54 months in a Young Offenders Institution on 15 January at Peterborough Crown Court on charges of assault by penetration and rape. Myers raped the victim at his home in Muskham, Bretton, on 16 May 2019 and was arrested, but claimed he’d had no sexual contact despite DNA evidence proving otherwise. 7. Leam Smith and Leon Holmes
Leon Holmes, 20, but 19 at the time of the offence, was sentenced to six years in prison by Cambridge Crown Court for charges of robbery and assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent. His 19-year old friend, Leam Smith, was convicted of murder in a separate case and was handed life in prison with a minimum term of 117 years, plus three-and-a-half years for the robbery and six months for assult causing actual bodily harm, all of which will run concurrently. 8. Darius Lukauskas and Juozas Baltors
Juozas Baltors, 28, and Darius Lukauskas, 31, were convicted at Peterborough Crown Court following a seven-day trial for conspiracy to steal 26 keyless-entry vehicles from 10 counties across England, before having them delivered to a ‘chop-shop’ in Peterborough where the cars were dismantled and thought to have been shipped out of the county. They were each sentenced to four years and six months in prison, while Baltors was given an additional three months for breaching the deportation order and disqualified from driving for three years, starting from his release from prison, for driving while uninsured.
