Here are the most serious offenders. This is not a list of all offenders jailed, but of those who have committed such serious offences that Cambridgeshire Police have deemed it worthy to release their custody photographs to the public.
1. Muhammed Idrees
Muhammed Idrees (48) was arrested in January after police were notified that Idrees was communicating with children sexually on Facebook. Following an investigation and being placed on the Sexual Offenders Register, Idrees later admitted to three counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and failing to comply with the notification requirements of the Sex Offenders Register. 2. 12 person gang
Twelve men who formed a sophisticated criminal network and travelled to the United Kingdom in order to commit high value and well planned burglaries have been sentenced. They are: Vasille Ionel Pragina (3 years, 8 months), Marian Mamaliga (4 years), Liviu Leahu (3 years, 8 months), Daniel David (3 years, 7 months), Paul Popeanu (3 years, 3 months), Gavril Popinciuc (5 years, 8 months), Cristian Ungureanu (5 years, 1 month), Narcis Popescu (4 years, 2 months), Traian-Daneil Mihulca (4 years), Marian Albu (4 years), Victor Opariuc (3 years, 7 months), Ilie Ungureanu (3 years, 8 months). 3. Vytautas Kiminius
Vytautas Kiminius (35), took a “racing line” through a corner whilst driving in his Range Rover Sport when he ploughed into a car driven by 46 year old vet Rachel Radwell. She died from her injuries. He was sentenced to four years and six months for causing death by dangerous driving, and nine months for driving while uninsured, to run concurrently. Photo: Cambridgeshire Constabulary
4. Steven Craggs
Steven Craggs (43) raided homes in Hampton, Werrington, Eye, Ramsey, Whittlesey, Helpston, Maxey and others across Cambridgeshire, stealing sentimental jewellery and irreplaceable items.
