Teenager banned from Paston after Peterborough police crackdown on spate of anti-social behaviour

The teenager was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage on Thursday, December 14, as police enforced a 48-hour dispersal order in Paston following a spate of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and crime.

The 14-year-old has subsequently been charged with criminal damage, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and two counts of theft from a shop.

He has been bailed with conditions not to go to Paston, and to return to Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court on January 3, 2018.

The teenager cannot be named or identified in anyway for legal reasons.

Police are continuing high visibility patrols in Paston this week but say they have seen a reduction in incidents.

Posting on Facebook last night, officers said: "Continuing with our high visibility patrols around Chadburn Centre and Paston in general, responding to concerns raised by local residents.

"It's good to hear that last couple of nights were quieter in terms of Anti-Social behaviour. "
