Teenager arrested after cannabis factory uncovered in Peterborough

A teenager has been arrested after a cannabis factors was discovered in Peterborough today.

Officers executed a warrant in Essendyke, Bretton, at about 7am which resulted in the discovery of 288 cannabis plants and the arrest of a 17-year-old boy.

He remains in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.

A 45-year-old man was arrested at a separate address in Bretton later this morning in connection with the find. He also remains in custody on suspicion of the same offence.
