Suspected illegal immigrants discovered at Serpentine Green Tesco

Police were called by the ambulance service to the store in Hampton at about 9.10pm with reports of concern for a group of people who are believed to have entered the country illegally.

Four people (two adults and two children) were taken to Thorpe Wood Police Station and are now with immigration services, a police spokeswoman said.

Police are unsure how the four people, who were not arrested, entered the store.
