Police car chase through three counties after ‘violent incident’ in Peterborough
The incident started when Cambridgeshire police were called out at 10.20pm on Thursday (October 22) to Vere Road, to the north of Peterborough, after violence was reported.
Police at the scene tried to speak to the man but he drove away, allegedly driving at officers as he did so.

Hide AdLincolnshire Police officers then tracked the vehicle in their area and tried to speak to the driver, but once again he drove off, this time hitting a police car.
A chase then took place and the car was eventually brought to a stop on the A43 near Corby at about 12.15am on Friday, (October 23).
The suspect, who is in his 40s, was arrested at the junction of the A43 and A427 near Weldon. Our dramatic pictures from the scene show the moment of the arrest.
A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of common assault, one count of common assault of an emergency worker, dangerous driving, failing to stop and drug driving.
He was taken into custody at Thorpe Wood police station in Peterborough.
