Peterborough woman charged with spitting at police officer

Jade Mason, 35, was arrested at her home address in Bodesway on Saturday night (25 July) following three instances of theft from Lloyds Pharmacy in Ortongate Shopping Centre throughout July.

She was later charged with three counts of theft of beauty products worth £265 as well as assaulting an emergency worker, namely spitting at a police officer.

She has been remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (Monday 27 July).
