Peterborough police appeal to trace jewellery stolen from city home

Police have released images of jewellery taken in a burglary in Peterborough.

The jewellery, which is worth about £5,000, was taken between Saturday, 22 August, and Tuesday. 25 August, from a house in Manton, Bretton.

The burglar got in through the back door which was broken and left wide open.

DC Tess Munro said: “I would urge members of the public to come forward if they have any information relating to this burglary or have been offered the jewellery in the pictures.

“The incident has left the victim extremely upset and I’d ask anyone with information to contact us.”
