Peterborough murder: Footage shows armed police storm house before arresting killer husband

Andriejus Kostiajevas (47) killed his wife Ligita Kostiajeviene (42) on July 2 last year before stabbing a boy living in the house nine times and chasing another woman with a knife.

He later hid in an outbuilding at the back of his home where police negotiators had to coax him out before arresting him.

Kostiajevas was yesterday (Wednesday) jailed for a minimum of 28 years after being found guilty of murder, attempted murder and assault on an emergency worker at Cambridge Crown Court.

Police have now revealed body-worn camera footage which was shown during the trial.

The footage shows armed officers storm the house before arresting the murderer in the outbuilding.
