Peterborough man charged with making malicious calls to police

A Peterborough man is due in court tomorrow (Tuesday 23 June) charged with sending malicious communications to police.

Petras Narbutas, 30, of Sayer Court in Orton Goldhay, was arrested yesterday afternoon (Sunday) following several calls of a malicious nature to police via 999.

He has since been charged with two counts of sending communications that were grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing matter and has been remanded to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
