Peterborough man charged with assaulting police officer after city centre fight
A man from Glinton has been charged with assaulting a police officer after he was detained following a fight in Peterborough on Saturday night (15 August).
Lewis Bines, 23, was detained by officers outside Sir Henry Royce pub in Broadway following reports of a fight between a group of men.
He was arrested in connection with the assault of a police officer and has since been charged with one count of assaulting an emergency worker.
Bines has been bailed to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on 26 October.
