Peterborough fly tipping causing stress and misery to residents
The mound of junk, including beds, sofas and a vacuum cleaner, was left on land near Kilham in Orton Goldhay.
Council staff have been to clear the pile today, but Orton Waterville councillor Julie Howell said the rubbish was causing more stress and misery to local residents.

“It is a lot more difficult for all of us to get rid of things during the Covid-19 crisis because the council has been forced to suspend collections and close the recycling centre to keep people safe.
“The parish council runs very popular bulky waste collections days and these have been postponed too.
“However, that’s no excuse for dumping stuff in local communities. Everyone who has seen this is really fed up. We’re only allowed one walk a day and many people will see this mess which only adds to people’s stress and misery.”
