Peterborough embankment cordoned off by police

Police have cordoned off an area of Peterborough Embankment this morning.

The cordon, which has a police guard, has been placed by the river near the Key Theatre. A green tent is in the cordon area.

The Peterborough Telegraph has contacted Cambridgeshire Police for more information.
