Member of public detains Peterborough drink driver until police arrive
A member of the public confiscated the car keys of a man after seeing him driving erratically and suspecting drink driving today.
Police were called to Midgate in Peterborough just after 7am on Thursday December 14.
A member of the public took the keys from the man, who had been seen driving erratically, and called police after suspecting drink driving.
A 28-year-old man from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and driving not in accordance with the conditions of a provisional licence.
His vehicle was seized.
He remains in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.
