Man seriously ill in hospital following Peterborough assault
A man is still seriously ill in hospital following an alleged assault in Star Road, Peterborough.
The incident happened at about midnight yesterday (Wednesday.)
A man, aged in his 20s, suffered serious head injuries.
Today (Thursday) a Cambridgeshire police spokesman said the man was in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
A 25-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm has been bailed by police. He will return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on April 8.
