Man reported for string of offences after car crashed into stationary vehicles in ‘briefest’ of police pursuits in Peterborough

The incident happened at about 7.30pm on Tuesday in Hankey Street, Millfield, when police spotted a Seat car being driven by a suspected disqualified driver.

A police spokesman said: This driver thought they could outsmart road policing officers in Peterborough.

“However, after the briefest of pursuits the driver crashed and is currently being dealt with for numerous offences.”

The spokesman said the man has been reported for driving while disqualified, failing to stop, driving without due care and attention and driving without insurance, and he was dealt with at the roadside.
