A man driving in Peterborough with his boot open and a sofa unsecured inside was stopped by police, who also found a four-year-old sat between a passenger's feet in the footwell.

The man was stopped by officers in Crown Street, New England, at about 9.30pm on Tuesday.
His vehicle was seized and he was reported for driving with no insurance and carrying passengers in a manner likely to cause injury.
