A man is due in court today (Thursday) following an attempted robbery at a bookmakers on Tuesday afternoon (11 February).

Rafal Wirkus, 43, of Star Mews, Peterborough, was arrested following the incident at Paddy Power in Midgate at about 3.30pm.
He has been charged with attempted robbery and will appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court today.
