Man charged with attempting to groom a child in Stamford

Paul Middleton, 53, of no fixed abode, is charged with attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming and attempt to incite a girl aged 13 years in sexual activity.

The offences occurred between April 27 and May 3, 2015, in Stamford.

The address given by the court for Middleton was Main Street, Manthorpe, but he was only staying there temporarily.

Middleton appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, May 16, and was remanded in custody until Monday June 1.
