A man was arrested on Queensgate roundabout on suspicion of shoplifting.

Police were called at 1.35pm today (Monday, March 26) with reports of a theft at Menkind in Queensgate Shopping Centre.

Officers attended the scene and a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of theft from a shop.

He was taken to custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.
