Man arrested in Peterborough on suspicion of bike theft and being equipped to steal

A man was arrested near John Lewis in Peterborough city centre on suspicion of stealing a bike and being equipped to steal.

The 35-year-old man was arrested at 10.25pm last night (Sunday, November 4).

He was also arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs.

He remains in custody at Thorpe Wood Police Station.
