Jail for 'violent and angry man' who trashed his own room in Peterborough HMO before threatening security guard
Mohamed Abdulwahed said he would burn the building down with security officer in it
A man living in shared accommodation in Peterborough smashed up his room then threatened a security guard.
Mohamed Abdulwahed, 28, was living in a house of multiple occupancy in Holdich Street, West Town, when police were called by another resident who heard banging and smashing in December last year.
The security officer at the property went to check on Abdulwahed and noticed his bedroom window was smashed.

Abdulwahed later threatened the security officer and said he was going to smash up the office and burn the building down with him in it.
He smashed security office windows using a chair, then a brick and finally a metal pole.
Officers arrived and arrested Abdulwahed, of Holdich Street, Peterborough, who was jailed for three months after admitting three counts of criminal damage at Peterborough Crown Court on Wednesday (16 April).
PC Gavin Taylor, who investigated, said: “Abdulwahed is clearly a violent and angry man who not only trashed the property he was living in but also threatened a man who was just trying to do his job.”
