Here are the most serious offenders. This is not a list of all offenders jailed, but of those who have committed such serious offences that Cambridgeshire Police have deemed it worthy to release their custody photographs to the public.
13. Jimmy Rabbeth
Jimmy Rabbeth (21) assaulted a fellow inmate with a makeshift weapon, which he used to cut down the side of his face. CCTV footage captured Rabbeth running from the incident, and the victim was transported to Peterborough City Hospital. He pleaded guilty to assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent, and was sentenced to four years in prison, extended for two years on licence. Photo: Cambridgeshire Constabulary
14. Wesley Downing
Wesley Downing (40) was on his way back from the visitors’ hall at HMP Peterborough, after being visited by Anthony Spring (30) when prison guards noticed something between his thighs during a search. The package was found to contain cannabis and tobacco, estimated to be worth up to £3,800. He pleaded guilty of possession with intent to supply class B and was sentenced to 18 months in prison, on top of an existing sentence. Photo: Cambridgeshire Constabulary
15. Robert Stacey
Robert Stacey (23) had previously been made the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) after he was sentenced for making indecent images of children. When officers arrived at his home, 48 indecent images of children were discovered on two undeclared mobile phones. He was sentenced to 20 months imprisonment and handed an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Photo: Cambridgeshire Constabulary
16. John Penhaligon
John Penhaligon (49) robbed two Betfred shops, armed with a knife, and stole a mobile phone, £230 in cash and a pair of blue Adidas trainers from a friend’s home where he was staying. Penhaligon went on to admit two counts of robbery, two of possession of a knife in a public place, and one of theft. He was jailed for five years. Photo: Cambridgeshire Constabulary
