The South Kesteven District Council injunction, handled by video link, prevents the tenant from visiting Abbotts Close and lasts until December 2022.

SKDC Housing Options and Tenancy Services worked with Lincolnshire Police, probation services and its shared legal services at Rushcliffe Borough Council, with the council awarded costs of £3,368.

Cllr Robert Reid, Cabinet member for Housing, said; “This has been an excellent example of partnership working, both internally and externally.

“We take the nuisance of anti-social behaviour very seriously and we have a duty to all our tenants to deal with that. It is very important that other residents of Abbots Close now know they have enforceable protection.

“We are proud of the way our teams have come together to handle this and the work they put in to get such a positive outcome. The fact that we have resolved this by video link illustrates that we are committed to take action to protect our residents under difficult circumstances.”

Issued at Peterborough County Court under section 13 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime & Policing Act 2014, the injunction allows for the tenant to be arrested if they do not comply.
