Arsonists strike near Peterborough home
Arsonists set fire to a shed and trees near a home late last night in Peterborough
Crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe fire stations were called to a fire at a house on Pennine Way, Gunthorpe at 11.30pm last night.
Crews arrived to find a fire affecting a shed and row of conifer trees and fencing. Firefighters used two hose reels and a jet to extinguish the fire, before returning to their stations by 12.30am.
