Arsonists destroy garage in Peterborough
Arsonists have torched a garage on the Welland Estate in Peterborough this morning, Tuesday July 5.
A fire crew from Whittlesey and one from Stanground were called to a fire in Normanton Road at 6.20am.
Firefighters arrived to find a garage well alight. Wearing breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire using hose reels and returned to their stations by 8.30am.
The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
