Armed police searching for suspect after woman robbed at knifepoint at Werrington Centre
Officers were called to the Werrington Centre, in Werrington, Peterborough, at about 8am this morning (Sunday).
The offender is believed to have made off on foot with a quantity of cash.

Hide AdA number of police vehicles were seen parked near to the Tesco petrol station, in Staniland Way, Werrington, as the search continued today.
Inspector Terry Furlong, from Cambridgeshire police, said: “Officers at the scene this morning identified and spoke to a number of witnesses who were able to describe the suspect.
“A search was carried out of the local area and officers are continuing their efforts to find him. Armed officers have been deployed because the suspect is said to have used a knife during the robbery. At this stage, no arrests have been made but we are still actively looking.”
The suspect is described as a white male, in his 30s, with black swept-back hair. He is said to have been wearing a grey tracksuit.
