Concern for missing man after his dog and jacket are found by police

Police are growing increasingly concerned for an elderly man who has gone missing from Wyton, Cambridgeshire.

It is understood John Hadley, 84, went to walk his dog at approximately 9.30am this morning (May 22) on Hemingford Meadow and hasn’t been seen since.

He was wearing a donkey jacket which has since been found along with his dog.

Superintendent Nick Church said: “Police and John’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and would urge anyone who has seen him, or may know where he is, to contact us immediately.”

Anyone with information about John’s whereabouts should contact police on 101.
