The team of people on the Prince’s Trust award from the Huntingdon campus of Cambridge Regional College were in the city centre earlier this month after collecting the items. Team leader Dean Boyall said: “We held a collection at college for warm clothing and blankets in November. A team came over to Peterborough because we knew there were homeless people in the city centre, and we had collected so many. We also handed some of the items in Huntingdon.”

There are eight youngsters on the course, with three - Daniel Duell, Jeremicko Onrubia, Dylan Healy - coming to Peterborough to hand out the blankets.
