Another £1m Lotto Millionaire Raffle prize remains unclaimed in Cambridgeshire

Every week Lotto Millionaire Raffle guarantees to create two millionaires – one on Wednesday and one on Saturday – but the lucky winner from the Lotto draw on 23 March, 2016 has still to check their ticket and claim their prize.

Players in the District of Huntingdonshire are being urged to check and double-check their unique Lotto Millionaire Raffle code for the chance to become an instant millionaire.

The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket which was bought in the District of Huntingdonshire.

For every Lotto line played, players automatically receive a Lotto Millionaire Raffle code printed on their ticket.

The winning code on 23 March, 2016 was ROSE 6742 3684 and the lucky ticket-holder has until 19 September, 2016 to claim their prize.

If no-one comes forward, as happened earlier this month in Cambridgeshire, with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

The National Lottery changes the lives of individuals as well as communities – players raise, on average, over £34 million for National Lottery-funded projects every week.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life. We’re urging everyone who bought a Lotto ticket in the District of Huntingdonshire to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

To help jog Lotto players’ memories about what was happening around the date of the draw in question nearby football clubs, Northampton Town, Cambridge United and Peterborough, were in action. While Peterborough eased to a 3-1 home win over Coventry in League One on 25 March, in League Two Northampton Town continued their march towards promotion with a 1-0 win at home to Newport County. However, fellow League Two team Cambridge United were soundly beaten 3-0 away at high-flying Bristol Rovers.

With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket.
