Air ambulance lands in Peterborough after woman hurt at Queensgate car park

An air ambulance landed in Peterborough on Monday evening after a woman suffered injuries at a Queensgate multi-storey car park.

The woman was treated by paramedics near Peterborough Station before being taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance for treatment.

She was said to have suffered serious injuries.

An ambulance service spokesperson said: “An ambulance, two Hazardous Area Response Team vehicles and East Anglian air ambulance were called to Queensgate on Monday evening.

“One patient with serious injuries was transported to Peterborough City Hospital by road ambulance.”

A Cambridgeshire police spokeswoman said: “We were called at 8.11pm to reports of concern for the welfare of a woman at a car park on Station Road, Peterborough.

Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment.”
