The Voice UK is coming to Peterborough - apply now

Auditions for the hit TV show will take place at The Met Lounge in Bridge Street, Peterborough, on Tuesday April 17 from 7pm.

Entrants will be asked to prepare one track with wither their own instrumental accompaniment or backing track.

To enter The Voice UK you must be 16 years old or over on October 1 2018. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult to enter the Met Lounge.

"The producers of the show approached us after hearing good reports of our weekly open night" said Host Alex Waller.

"They asked us to host the main local heat as a standalone ‘Voice’ event and said we’ed probably attract around a dozen or so performers. We doubled that number after a couple of weeks and we were literally full from 7.30pm until midnight. However, we kept receiving more emails from people wanting to audition so the programmers are coming up from London earlier now so we can kick off at 7pm.

"So far, over 30 performers have confirmed their places, each performer is videoed by the producers and interviewed. If they like what they see then they’ll be invited to participate in the next round."

Doors open at 6.45pm next Tuesday April 17, entry is free all night and the stage opens at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and support the performers.
