Real ales galore at Charters

Charters annual Easter Beer Festival gets under way today (Thursday) at 5pm, and will, over the weekend, showcase 25-plus real ales.

Charters, on the River Nene at Town bridge,is celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year and the Easter Beer Festival kicks off a series of events.

There will be entertainment during the festival, the weekly quiz will take place as normal tonight from 8pm, followed by live music from Agi Jarocka.

Tomorrow it’s Children of the Revolution at 10:30pm; Saturday it’s Flashback Photograph at 10:30pm; and Sunday, Pennyless Folk Trio at 3pm.
