Last week, the Peterborough Telegraph featured a number of dogs that were available for adoption in and around Peterborough from Wood Green The Animals Charity. They are just one of the many brilliant animal charities doing good work in the region.
The Peterborough and District Branch of the RSPCA do so much to rescue, nurture and subsequently rehome dogs in the area. They have continued to operate throughout lockdown and within a small radius are still permitted to rehome these animals.
Below are a selection of those that have been rescued and are in need of their forever home.
To find more details on each dog and to search for more rescue animals, visit www.rspca.org.uk/findapet/rehomeapet/process.
The RSPCA are funded entirely by public donations and receive no government money and therefore rely on the generosity of the public. Anyone wishing to support their work do so via www.rspca.org.uk/getinvolved/donate.

5. Pal (2 years)
Pal is a super little dog with a huge character. He loves playing with his toys, going for long walks and getting lots of human attention. He absolutely lives for chasing his tennis ball and will literally chase it until his legs are wobbly and he unable to physically chase it any longer! Photo: Midlands

6. Sebastian (4 years)
Our gorgeous Sebastian is looking for a fresh start with a kind, caring and committed adult family. He needs a home where he can live as the only pet. He is adorable with people and loves playing with toys, going for walks and having a good back scratch. He adores water and enjoys splashing around in it when given a chance Photo: Midlands

7. Skye (8 years)
Skye is a loving 8 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier looking for her forever home. She is a very sweet and affectionate girl who loves fuss and having lots of cuddles. Skye loves her walks and is generally good on the lead. She can be rective towards some dogs so will need a home that is happy to help her with this. She loves her toys so would love a home with a spacious garden for her to play in. Photo: Midlands

8. Eve (2 years)
Eve (with the fluffy ears) and Dasher find themselves at Southridge and are looking for a home together. Eve is a shy girl which may have something to do with her being deaf but she is slowly starting to come out of her shell. They can not live with any small animals such as cats or rabbits and when out on walks as `sight hounds` they will be very interested in wildlife. A family unit with children of 14 years and older would be great for them. We`re looking for a quiet household as Eve can be timid. She very much relies on Dasher for confidence. Photo: Midlands
