Last week, the Peterborough Telegraph featured a number of dogs that were available for adoption in and around Peterborough from Wood Green The Animals Charity. They are just one of the many brilliant animal charities doing good work in the region.
The Peterborough and District Branch of the RSPCA do so much to rescue, nurture and subsequently rehome dogs in the area. They have continued to operate throughout lockdown and within a small radius are still permitted to rehome these animals.
Below are a selection of those that have been rescued and are in need of their forever home.
To find more details on each dog and to search for more rescue animals, visit www.rspca.org.uk/findapet/rehomeapet/process.
The RSPCA are funded entirely by public donations and receive no government money and therefore rely on the generosity of the public. Anyone wishing to support their work do so via www.rspca.org.uk/getinvolved/donate.

17. Eric (6 years)
Eric arrived into our care through no fault of his own after his owner moved aboard for work purposes. If you are looking for a loving and loyal companion then Eric is the boy for you! He loves nothing more than your company and his toys! He will happily sit with you for a stroke whilst he chews his toys, he loves to interact in fetch of tug, his favourite toys are footballs, balls and soft fury toys! In his previous home Eric could comfortably be left for up to 6 hours since a puppy without any problems. Photo: Midlands

18. Huntess (3 years)
Say hello our lovely girl Huntess. She arrived into our care through no fault of her own and is looking for an experienced home to call her own. Huntess arrived slightly underweight so is taking a little while to get to her full size. Photo: Midlands

19. Toby (8 years)
Toby is a loving 7 year old Yorkshire Terrier looking for his forever home. He is a sweet boy, who loves company and cuddles and would be a lovely part of a family. Toby is very affectionate and adores being around people. He likes his walks and is good on the lead. He loves playtime and his toys, especially a tennis ball. He would love a home with a spacious garden for him to play in. Photo: Midlands
