Plans for 90 new homes in Yaxley brought forward
Plans have been revealed for 90 new homes in Yaxley.
Allison Homes has brought forward plans to build 90 homes off Main Street.
The site was identified as suitable for housing in Huntingdonshire District Council’s 2024 Land Availability Assessment.
The housebuilder has said that it is committed to delivering ‘a range of smaller starter properties to family houses, all designed to meet local needs.’ At least 40% of these homes would be affordable.

Plans would also include a new footway along Main Street, provision for public open space to the south, energy efficient homes built with solar panels, EV chargers and electric heating as well as a new community orchard.
Allison Homes is yet to formally submit plans to Huntingdonshire District Council and wants to consult with local residents and stakeholders ahead of this.
An online survey has been launched and will be love between November 12 and December 13.
The survey can be accessed at https://allison-homes.co.uk/land-off-main-street-yaxley/ as well as information on two consultation events on December 3 and 5.
