Since well-received spells at the Key Theatre and New Theatre last year - which saw Resist! grab the top spot on TripAdvisor, Gareth Ellison and the team have been doing deliveries and sell-out events.

And they’ve just made it into the finals for best street food at The UK Vegetarian and Vegan Awards 2020 - quite an achievement to feature alongside some big London names and more.

Gareth is also proud of Resist! holding the highest food review from Vlog food reviewer Only Fools Eat Horses, and they have been praised by Romesh Ranganathan (who ate with them before a show at the key) and featured in his stand up set material.

Gareth said: “The Resist! Legendary Doner Kebab has even made it into this year’s UK Doner Kebab awards, showing that there really is no need to eat meat and dairy anymore. AbraKEBABRA! as @noporkpies on Instagram commented.”

Resist! have created a new menu consisting of the people’s favourites, alongside Buffalo Wangs, new specials Hoisin Dukk Fries, BBQ Rum Chickun Burger, Buffalo and Blue Cheeze Ranch Burger and The Bomber Bowl (dedicated to the loss of local legend Matt Lancaster).

“You can have the same food experience, and you’ll end up healthier for it”, says Gareth who creates each dish from scratch to Resist! recipes every time, with Lauren, Rhys and Chris who complete the team.
