Celebrating cultural diversity at a picnic
There is a chance for people to come together on Saturday and celebrate the cultural diversity of Peterborough at The Green Backyard.
Their International Picnic, at the community growing project on Oundle Road, is a bring and share affair - everyone is asked to bring a dish that is placed on a central table so that everybody may share their food with one another. The more traditional your dish, the better!
As well as all the delicious food, there will be live music, discussion, a “love wall” and the chance to make your mark on The Green Backyard’s world map, which will be a record of the many places that are represented on the day.
The International Picnic takes place from 12 - 4pm.
