Do you recognise the city street in the first picture?

Chris said: “It’s outside my old house in Alma Road with a neighbour clearing snow with his corgi.

“The Lincoln Road junction is at the top.”

Chris described the second picture: “Jock, a well-known character, is walking in an icy Fitzwilliam Street by the old library.

“On the opposite side of the road is Fairways now the library.”

The final picture shows workmen gritting outside the magistrates’ court and Harris decorators, more recently Poundland, now closed.
