The team behind Elements Training is launching its new 12-week online programme, beginning in January, which aims to bridge the gap between personal trainer and normal gym membership.

With Peterborough and much of the surrounding area in tier four, access to bricks and mortar gyms will be severely restricted, and many people are missing the regular routine and benefits of membership. Not only a major boost for your physical health and wellbeing, the benefits to your mental health from regular exercise are well-documented.

The new 12-week course can be adapted to suit, whether you are a total novice or an experienced gym-goer.

Sam Brindle from Elements Training said: “This is results-driven training. All of our Elements members will receive a thorough induction process into our facility where we will guide you through all the necessary steps to analyse your goals, and develop a sustainable and achievable approach.

Year-round fitness

Elements Training was set up by Sam and business partner Martin Smith, who have many years of training and experience in the industry, and who wanted to offer a bespoke, tailored service which truly measured progress and goals for customers.

Sam added: “We knew what many gyms were missing, or only gave a light touch too. Our regular gym membership has a very detailed three-point induction programme, which delves much more deeply into your lifestyle and behaviours, your goals, your injury history and more, so we can deliver a training regime for you that is sustainable, measurable and supported at every stage.”

While current restrictions are limiting the gym’s physical opening hours, Sam and Martin have adapted their services to offer value-for-money training for all with a mixture of online and outdoor sessions, many of which can be done from home.

The year ahead

Reflecting on 2020, and the year to come, Martin said: “In 2020 people have had to adapt their lifestyles and fitness regime due to the closure of many gyms, which has led to the uptake in new or old training ways, leading to a rise in injuries and poor training habits.

“We want to encourage people to achieve sustainable fitness, by analysing your current abilities and developing a sustainable and injury preventative programme that works for you, challenges you, and is reviewed regularly to keep you safe, and to see your fitness improve over the weeks to come.”
